Yes, Have the Courage To Live Life The Way You Want To

Too often, you don’t do the things that allow you to live your life the way you want. It’s simple to feel conflicted about whether you should pursue your aspirations or take the safest course. But consider this. The safest route isn’t necessarily the best choice.

Although you intend to do so, it isn’t always simple to focus your attention on what really matters, listen to the whispers of your heart, and let the rest go. You can purposely and deliberately go toward a flourishing and meaningful life by setting some modest goals and making baby steps toward doing more than merely daydreaming about living the way you desire.

20 Behaviors To Live Life The Way You Want

It’s time to take control of your life, live it on your terms, and make things happen for you. Let these useful tips help you avoid situations that would otherwise impede you from living your greatest life and act more proactively to build the life you want.

1. Enjoy the mystery

The crucial thing in life—letting your heart lead you—might not always seem like the best course of action. Frequently, uncertainty and doubt cloud your options. Fear also speaks loudly. Can you do it? What will happen? What if you take a misstep? You haven’t started the journey, therefore you can’t see the way ahead. Yet, you can now see what is directly in front of you. Take small steps; by focusing on what is in front of you right now, you may complete the entire journey. And despite how mysterious it may seem right now, your chances of success increase the longer you persevere.

2. Be open-minded

True or false. Either positive or negative. Robust or feeble. You will always limit yourself by thinking in black and white or believing in the world’s duality. You soon become a prisoner to the “had to” and “should ofs,” missing out on the “maybes” and “what ifs,” as a result. That’s also where you’ll find opportunities, possibilities, and helpful people. Your ego uses the all-or-nothing mentality to keep you stuck. It deprives you of happiness. It hinders you from seeing that living your life is more than an either/or proposition. Relationships aren’t fantastic or dreadful, nor are you either strong or weak, good or bad. Quit choosing not to take action because you think you have limited resources. Do what you can. Often, it’s the small deeds that mean the most.

3. Trust your intuition

Don’t let the norms of society determine what’s best for you. Have faith that you are the expert on how to live your life. Recognize your ability to achieve your goals and whatever you set out to do. Ignore what others are doing. You don’t have to go after them or try to catch up with them. It’s not a given that what they’re doing will work for you, just because it does for them. Create your own rules depending on your preferences, abilities, and decisions. Recognize that you own this power. When you march in time with your drum, you’ll feel satisfied.

4. Relax how you want

If you want to live the life you want, this is the most crucial thing you can do. When your mind is overloaded with negative thoughts, it can be stressful and overwhelming. Clear your mind. As you cultivate mindfulness and become more aware, you can build the life of your dreams with a new perspective and approach.

5. Be present

Do not wait another day to live the life you want. Start now, at this moment. If you don’t, then you get stuck in a rut that you don’t like. See each new day as a chance to live your life to the fullest. Don’t wait until you are wealthy, have more time, or have purchased the most recent item on your wish list. These things are irrelevant. Start with what you have and where you are. Make every day a memorable moment for you by doing something amazing. Be receptive to all the opportunities the world offers.

6. Don’t care what other people think

Unless you let it affect you, what other people think doesn’t mean much. What you think of yourself is what really matters. How positive your self-talk is and how you perceive yourself. Make it a good thing. Those who care excessively about what others think are the least happy people on Earth. Never trust others with your life. They are exempt from having to bear the repercussions. Your ability to decide how to live your life will be its greatest miracle.

7. No labeling

Don’t label yourself a procrastinator just because you put off something once, or maybe even twice or three times. Do not accuse another of being ignorant if you made a mistake. And don’t claim your significant other is unlovable if someone left you. Don’t be too quick to limit yourself. You are more than one-dimensional. You are better than that.

How will letting go of labels improve your life? You can start by telling yourself that you are brilliant, amazing, happy, worthy, and loved. Sometimes all it takes to prepare for the next stage of your journey and to view yourself and the world through fresh eyes is the willingness to get rid of the labels you’ve given yourself.

8. Regulate your inner critic

The egoic mind might be so powerful that you can’t help but feel inadequate. It obstructs and imperils your aspirations. Never give in to your inner critic or those labels that are unfavorable because doing so might harm your mental health. You’ll be more likely to live the life you desire if you let go of the masks and armor. Be honest with yourself and accept who you are. Keep in mind that it is irrelevant what other people think of you unless you allow it. What you think about yourself is crucial. It’s important to tell yourself “you can” rather than “you can’t.”

9. Shine your light

Give out plenty of compliments today. For someone who is stumbling in the dark, shine your light. Encourage everyone you come in contact with. Also, spend time with people that inspire you. Be someone who rarely complains, but is happily sharing everything right with the world. Because of your presence, the world will become more beautiful.

10. Be intentional about what you want

Choose the life you want to lead. Although intents and goals seem to be the same, they are not, even though both are crucial to cultivate. What you wish to happen in the future is a goal. A goal is based on the present and the person you’re actively trying to become. Goals may not always be as inspiring as your intentions. It’s because occasionally, when you don’t achieve your goals, you could feel empty and lost. Yet when you make a conscious and deliberate effort to live the life you want, you start to feel good about it. The trick here is to put your intentions in writing so you have something to concentrate on. This fuels your internal ambition and unquenchable passion to succeed.

11. You have all you need to live life how you want

You must take responsibility if you want to live the way you want. Get rid of the clutter of negativity and cut back on time-wasting activities that don’t make you happy. Your thoughts are the seeds of your future, therefore resist the urge to confine or suppress them. If you go into it expecting it to be simple, you’ll only end up being let down time and time again. There are days when everything appears difficult, but keep in mind that your dedication and perseverance will be rewarded even during the most trying times.

Overcome your fears and limiting beliefs that are holding you back. Give it everything you’ve got. Dream big, envision as you prepare, then take bold action. And you’ll find all the talents and resources have been provided.

12. Take care of yourself

Your health and happiness are very important. You need to make time for yourself despite the world’s stress and obligations. Do not succumb to the pressure of guilt to get you to the gym or stick to the new diet. Instead, try out different things, find what you enjoy, and do what you love. Dance as you clean, sing as you drive, walk the dog, or read that book. Always take that much-needed break and indulge in self-care. Your effective daily routine is a step toward being healthy. It’s also one of the simplest methods to live your ideal life. As much as you can, be kind to yourself.

13. Create better habits to live how you want

Does checking your social media feeds make you unhappy? Or do you feel guilty when you procrastinate, stay up late or drink too much wine? You can’t live your life well if you’re surrounded by guilt and negativity. This includes those toxic people in your life.

Break free from time-wasting activities or hobbies that pull you down. Instead, do more of the things that give you fulfillment and make you happy. Focus on what you can do to make your life as great as it can be by creating better habits and routines.

14.  Be accountable for your actions.

Nobody else has control over or responsibility for your life. You must accept changes if you want to live the way you want. It entails moving forward. Only a leap of faith is required to make any change. After all, living your life is more about making small, deliberate moves in the right direction. But there are occasionally obstacles that keep you from accomplishing this. Like comparing yourself to others. Stop it. Instead. Build your self-assurance by making intentional choices and accepting who you are. And this will bring you one step closer to the life you’ve always wanted.

15. Adding self-care to your routine

Don’t feel bad about putting yourself first. Take the time to indulge in self-care. Put yourself first regularly if you want to live your life how you want. This entails engaging in activities that make you feel happy and alive. Discover your calling and passion, feel at ease in your work, take care of yourself, and remember that your happiness comes from within. To lead a flourishing life, you must be able to think for yourself. No matter how much you care about other people, never forget to put yourself first. Because everything will miraculously come together when you are at your best. You’ll have more strength to spread love and encourage others.

16. Simplify to live how you want

You forget about your surroundings when you are busy. How you live your life is affected by how much you value the small things and simple moments. Also, it helps to make your life as simple as possible. Declutter your life, one drawer at a time. Donate the clothes your youngest has outgrown. Enjoy the company of a friend by staying authentically connected. Inhibit the drama in your life by setting personal boundaries. Keep what’s important close at hand. But if it doesn’t make you happy or is useful, then let it go.

17. Be kind

Live with a purpose and decide to be kind in a world full of obstacles and challenges. It is unnecessary to make an enormous gesture. Even a smile can go a long way. Always show compassion to people, since you never know what they are going through. This makes both your day and the days of those around you happier. You’ll be able to smile even if no one notices since you’ll know you’ve done something worthwhile.

18. Be authentically you

Be true to who you are. To love, respect, and adhere to your authentic self to live your greatest life. Don’t strive to change who you are or who others want you to be. No masks and armor are needed. Tell people about the wonderful person you are. You are authentic because of your inner voice, thoughts, characteristics, and oddities. Being the best version of yourself is the key. Be proud of your individuality and concentrate on your strengths. Your perfection lies in being uniquely you. The way you are is fantastic, brilliant, and bright.

19. Remember your beliefs

You must organize your life by your values if you want to live it the way you want. It’s about acting in your own best interests, rather than trying to please others. This means pursuing your passions, making courageous decisions, adopting your own definition of success, concentrating on the aspects of life that are most important to you, and being true to your principles and beliefs. Through this transformation, you’ll develop a more profound feeling of self-worth and confidence. You will live your life for yourself rather than for other people. As you develop this as a habit, you won’t need the approval of others to make you feel worthy. You’re using your life to your advantage and getting approval from yourself.

20. Keep growing how you want

Becoming the person you want to be requires living the life you want. When you’re attached to the person you were in the past, you can’t expect growth to happen. A significant component of your enjoyment comes from observing your personal development.  Go beyond your comfort zone. Acknowledge your weaknesses and learn how to overcome them. Explore and appreciate new ideas. Aim to live a life you’ll be proud of if you want to live your best life. You’ll soon come to understand that the destination is not important. Your journey is what it’s all about. Remember that you can shape your life however you desire. Create your life’s masterpiece by living your life as you want.
